Homemade Triple Chocolate Pudding

For dessert, serve the family this decadent homemade triple chocolate pudding. Combining the deliciousness of semisweet, white, and dark chocolates, it's a rich and creamy treat. Ideal for those who enjoy chocolate!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 3/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for serving
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt

Gradually add the whole milk to the dry ingredients, whisking constantly to avoid lumps

Place the saucepan over medium heat and continue to whisk until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil

This should take about 5-7 minutes

Once it boils, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the semisweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and dark chocolate chips until they are completely melted and the pudding is smooth

Stir in the pure vanilla extract

Pour the triple chocolate pudding into individual serving dishes or a large serving bowl

Cover the pudding with plastic wrap, making sure the plastic wrap touches the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming

Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until it is set and firm

Before serving, top each serving with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings

Enjoy your homemade triple chocolate pudding!
